On March 7, 2024, the University of Zakho hosted Traditional Clothing Day, celebrating the cultural heritage under the supervision of the President, Dr. Nadhim S. Jacksi, the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Diyar A. Blij, and in the presence of the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Muhammad H. Khamo.

 

This vibrant folklore festival captured cultural performances, including traditional dances, presentations, and activities encouraging respect for the diverse backgrounds that converge within the university’s community. The event was attended by the university staff, students, and several distinguished figures from the public and private sectors, as well as artists.
